（中央社舊金山28日綜合外電報導）美國科技網站9to5Mac引述不具名消息人士的話報導，蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）準備推出新iPad機種，可能有128GB記憶體儲存容量。
這款iPad不會是全新機種，不過是目前第4代iPad升級版。根據9to5Mac消息來源，這款iPad有黑、白兩色，且只有Wi-Fi與Wi-Fi+cellular版。
比起目前iPad機種，升級最大的地方可能是記憶體部分，不過這個消息還無法確定。蘋果內部分別稱16GB、32GB與64GB版iPad為「好」（Good）、「更好」（Better）與「最好」（Best），這個最新機種則稱為「終極」（Ultimate），意味記憶體容量將達128GB。
至於iPad mini的情況，9to5Mac沒有蘋果將立即推出新機種的消息，但蘋果將升級iPad mini的謠言已經傳了好幾個月。
