德國權威「航空事故數據評估中心」，公布全球飛安排名，華航為800多家航空中的第60名，但24日美國知名財經新聞卻只綜觀前60家航空的成績，指稱華航為「最危險」的航空，讓華航相當錯愕。

台灣航空公司再度登上國際媒體，但此次卻是被外媒指稱為最危險航空。德國權威「航空事故數據評估中心」今年年初公布全球飛安排名，根據近30年來的事故數量與死亡人數綜合排名，全球800多家航空中，華航為第60名，但美國財經新聞卻只看前60名，點名華航為全球最危險航空。

此則新聞還登上國際網站焦點新聞，斗大的標題寫著「全球10大危險航空」，新聞內容用的圖片即為華航飛機，讓華航相當錯愕，並反駁外媒論點有誤，指稱華航在此排名中並非全球最爛。
