一直被用戶及谷歌(Google)高層詬病的臉書(facebook) Android版App，終於有明顯的更新。更新版本加快了圖片顯示速度、傳送語音訊息及分享朋友的故事到時間軸、專頁及社團等功能。
比起蘋果(Apple) iOS的facebook App，Android的版本長期受到用戶批評，包括瀏覽速度慢、圖片不能正常顯示、無法正常留言、嚴重甚至是出現當機等問題，似乎App的穩定度差了很多。最新的2.1版Android平台facebook App大幅提升了瀏覽照片的速度，另外也增加了傳送語音簡訊的功能，讓Android用戶也可以開始使用語音簡訊，功能升級不少。
此外，在分享的功能上也增加了針對朋友的故事分享、顯示「讚」、顯示參加「社團」到時間軸的功能等。用戶可以盡快上Play Store更新，立刻體驗改善的效能及功能。
